Jane Crawford is a privately practising midwife on the Gold Coast and Far Northern NSW who provides continuity of midwifery care for women wanting to birth in the home and antenatal, postnatal, and birth support for those wanting to birth in the hospital. Jane has been attending births for over 30 years and has a passion for helping women and their partners to make informed decisions and have a positive birth experience. She first started attending births as a birth worker in 1988 after having two of her own positive birth experiences. She fell in love with birthing and supporting other birthing women and their families. She went on to have 3 more babies (4 of her births were at home) and became a midwife. More recently, she has completed the Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner program and provides face-to-face classes for women and their birth partners to learn about birth and the tools they can use for a positive birth experience. There is also the option of having private classes.
